This project is based on the DS1050 chip, a 5-bit pulse-width modulator (PWM) controlled via a 2-wire (I²C) interface. The 2-wire bus allows a single master device to control up to eight slave devices (DS1050 or other compatible 2-wire peripherals). The project consists of a DS1050 I²C PWM generator combined with a MOSFET stage capable of driving high-current loads. It is primarily designed for driving LEDs and resistive loads, but it can also be used with inductive loads when an external flyback diode is added to protect against back-EMF.

This power driver shield is designed to drive solenoids or brushed DC motors using the OLEDUINO-V2 platform. The driver can handle peak currents of up to 3.7A and supports a DC supply voltage of up to 24Vdc.

The PWM interface can be used to drive single-coil relays, Dual coil relay, solenoids and DC brushed motor. To actuate a load the driver must supply current in either the forward or reverse state as defined in the PWM control table.

After actuation, the outputs can be disabled (IN1 = IN2 = 0) to place the driver in sleep mode and reduce power consumption. Alternatively, the outputs can be briefly set to brake mode after actuation to suppress back-EMF effects from the relay and prevent current from flowing back into the VM supply node.

When using the DRV8231 device, an external current-sense resistor is required; a 0.22 Ω, 2 W, 1% SMD 2512 resistor is recommended.

This multi-purpose motor driver shield is built around the BD60210FV motor driver IC. It is designed specifically for the OLEDUINO-V2 board, which features an onboard OLED display. This compact shield can be used to drive small bipolar stepper motors, two bidirectional brushed DC motors, and 4 solenoids.

The shield is capable of driving two brushed DC motors up to 1A continuous current with a supply voltage range of 8 V to 12 V. A key advantage of this shield is its seamless integration with the OLEDUINO-V2, allowing real-time display of speed, direction, and other operational information.

This high current forward-reverse DC motor driver is built using STK681-332 IC from ON Semiconductor. The circuit can drive brushed DC Motor with up to 12 A peak current. The circuit requires 3 input signals: Enable for PWM input for speed control, IN1 and IN2 to change the motor direction and to apply the brake while the motor is in running condition. Monitor (Fault) pin is used when either of the outputs short-circuits detector, overcurrent detector, or overheat detector is activated. When the detector is activated, this pin is set low and all outputs are latched off. If the output pin is short-circuited directly to VCC or connected directly to GND, an output short circuit condition is detected and the output is latched in the off state. To restart the operation, turn on 5V supply again. The maximum input frequency is 50 kHz. Both ICs required a large size heat sink to dissipate heat.

This Half-bridge module provides current measurement and regulation features for various loads. The module can be used to drive solenoids, Relays, Valves, DC-DC converters, Brushed DC motors, or other loads.  It can operate from a 5V to 55V supply voltage and can deliver up to 3A of output current (depending on ambient temperature). Cycle-by-cycle current regulation, current limiting is adjustable using PR1 trimmer pot. Internal diagnostic and protection features include open-load detection, over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), and thermal shutdown. The overcurrent limit is set to 3A and the retry time is 1.6mS. Solenoids can be controlled ON/OFF using Jumper J1. Use the PWM signal at the input pin for DC motor speed control.

This motor driver circuit can drive a brushed DC motor with up to 250W of continuous load. The project can be controlled with the general logic IO-Ports of any microcontroller. Either an Arduino Uno or other microcontroller can be used as the control board. The project uses two IFX007T IC from Infineon. Each IC provides half-bridge operation featuring one P-channel high side MOSFET and one N-channel low side MOSFET with an integrated driver IC. The IFX007T half-bridge is easy to control by applying logic level signals to the IN and INH pin. When applying a PWM to the IN pin the current provided to the motor can be controlled with the duty cycle of the PWM. With external R6, R9 resistors connected between the SR pin and GND you can set the slew rate of the power switches. The Motor Control board can be easily connected to any Arduino board or microcontroller via headers.

This is a Brushed DC motor controller designed to control one brushed DC motor up to 5A. It can control the speed of the DC motor using a Radio Control (RC) System. This Arduino compatible hardware converts RC PWM signal into 0 to 100% duty cycle PWM which further drives high current load using MOSFET. The project consists of an Atmega328 microcontroller, and a gate driver optocoupler provides isolation between MOSFET and microcontroller circuit to prevent high voltage and noise traveling from the motor and related circuit to the microcontroller. The circuit can drive a motor up to 5A with a power supply of 12V to 40V DC. The board has the option to mount higher voltage and current MOSFET, which can drive higher Voltage and current load. In this case don’t install Q2, install Q1 MOSFET FDH3632, and replace diode D2 with a higher current diode.

The module described here is a very useful device for use with linear actuators. This controller prevents the actuator from reaching the physical movement limits of the actuator, thus it prevents burnout of motor and physical/mechanical damage to the actuator itself to the mechanical machine associated with it. It also allows for a smoother stopping motion once the end of travel is reached. The project is capable of driving DC brushed motors up to 3A, it supports 12V DC or 24V DC motors with few changes. Two limit switches are used on both sides of the actuator. The limit switches are available with 2 contacts normally open and normally closed. It is advisable to use normally closed contacts. The project consists of 2 DPDT relays, two 1N5402 diodes, Power LED, Motor direction LEDs, 2 x tactile switches, DC supply capacitor, screw terminals, etc.
