This  is a 3-Phase isolated Hall-effect current sense amplifier with +/-600-V working voltage range. The current sensor senses magnetic flux generated from current passing through the lead frame at common-mode voltages 0 to 600V DC and provides proportional output voltage. The circuit is based on TMCS1101 IC which is a galvanically isolated Hall-effect current sensor capable of DC or AC current measurement with high accuracy, excellent linearity, temperature stability and has a bandwidth of 80KHz. A low-drift, temperature-compensated signal chain provides < 1.5% full-scale error across the device temperature range. The input current flows through an internal 1.8-mΩ conductor that generates a magnetic field measured by an integrated Hall-effect sensor. This structure eliminates external concentrators and simplifies design. Low conductor resistance minimizes power loss and thermal dissipation. Inherent galvanic insulation provides a 600-V lifetime working voltage and 3-kVRMS basic isolation between the current path and circuitry. Integrated electrical shielding enables excellent common-mode rejection and transient immunity. The output voltage is proportional to the input current with 50mV/A sensitivity. Fixed sensitivity eliminates radiometry errors, and improves supply noise rejection. The current polarity is considered positive when flowing into the positive input pin. The circuit is capable of sensing bidirectional current with +/-46A measurement range.

The MAX40201F is available in various gain configurations; this project employs the MAX40201F with a gain (G) of 50V/V. With a 0.05 Ohm shunt resistor, the output is 2.5V for a 1A current flow (1A/2.5V). Higher current measurements can be achieved by using a lower-value shunt resistor or by selecting a MAX40201 chip with a lower gain. The input common-mode range is 0V to 76V.

This single-supply, low-side, current-sensing solution accurately detects load current between 10μΑ and 10mA. A unique yet simple gain-switching network was implemented to measure the three-decade load current range accurately. The linear range of the output is from 100mV to 4.90V. INA326 instrumentation amplifier is used since low-side sensing is desirable because the common-mode voltage is near the ground. Therefore, the current sensing solution is independent of bus voltage, which allows for using single-supply, rail-to-rail input/output (RRIO) amplifiers. Low-side current sensing places a shunt resistor between the system load and the ground. The current drawn by the load generates a voltage across the shunt resistor. The output voltage of the circuit is equal to the current sense across the shunt resistor and the gain of the amplifier. A high-value resistor is used as a shunt for accurate current sense. It is advisable to use 0.1% tolerance shunt resistor R2.

The CTA mode (Constant Temperature Anemometer) consists of a simple feedback circuit for temperature regulation of the heater on the flow sensor and, as flow speed changes the thermal energy loss by the heater changes. By adapting controllers, a constant temperature difference between the heater and the temperature sensor can be achieved. The supplied electrical power, which controls the temperature difference, is a function of the flow speed.  The power is converted into a voltage output signal with a bridge circuit and can be easily read out. Knowing the temperature of the medium, the flow rate can be determined from the amount of voltage compensation needed to maintain a constant temperature differential.

The 12-Bit programmable contactless encoder module presented here is based on AS5601 chip. This is an easy-to-program magnetic rotary position sensor module with incremental quadrature (A/B) and 12-bit digital outputs. Additionally, the PUSH output indicates fast airgap changes between the AS5601 and magnet which can be used to implement a contactless pushbutton function in which the knob can be pressed to move the magnet toward the AS5601 chip. This module is designed for contactless encoder applications, and its robust design rejects the influence of any homogenous external stray magnetic fields. Based on planar Hall sensor technology, this device measures the orthogonal component of the flux density (Bz) from an external magnet.  The industry-standard I²C interface supports user programming of non-volatile parameters in the AS5601 without requiring a dedicated programmer. The AS5601 also provides a smart low-power mode which automatically reduces power consumption.

This project is an inclinometer based on the ADXL203/ADXL103 accelerometer chip and the Arduino microcontroller ATMEGA328. The device measures tilt and displays it on a 17-segment bar graph display. The ADXL203 provides an analog value, which is read by the ATMEGA328’s ADC A0 and displayed on the LED bar graph. The project also includes an optional on-board buzzer and driver circuit, which can be used to create an alarm at a certain degree of tilt. This feature is not populated on the board by default but can be added if required. On-board solder jumpers J1 and J2 are provided to select the X-Axis or Y-Axis of the ADXL chip since the chip has 2 axes. Users may additionally use single-axis chip ADXL103 instead of ADXL203 dual axis.
